Where to stay

The Vancouver area is pretty big, and the Wedding Venue is not that central (sorry). So where you stay depends on what you're doing in Vancouver.

Other Options

Tripadvisor.com has lots of listings and ratings for other hotels and priceline.com usually has good deals.
Or, try a B&B: www.bedandbreakfast.com
We recommend searching for accommodation in Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, and New Westminster. Don't forget to check how close your accommodation is to public transit or to the Wedding Venue.

How to get around

Renting a car

If you plan to stay downtown Vancouver getting everywhere by public transit or on foot is probably the most convenient - a rental car will just be a hindrance to park. If you insist, however, some information on rentals can be found here: YVR Car Rentals.

Public transportation

In Vancouver Translink will get you almost anywhere you want to go. See their website, www.translink.bc.ca, for all the info - use the Trip Planner option to plan your route.

The new Canada Line Skytrain is now open and runs from the airport to downtown where it connects with the other Skytrain lines.

Making your trip a little greener

Carbon Offsetting

If you will be flying or driving a long distance to our wedding, please consider purchasing carbon offsets to make your journey carbon neutral. If you don't know all the facts about carbon offsetting, check out David Suzuki's excellent summary here: David Suzuki Foundation.
Some carbon offset providers to check out include planetair.ca and less.ca.
